How it works

It's the principle of the 3 "S":

SELECT the pictures you want us to use, either as digital files or printed photos. Choose your music or let us pick the perfect background tunes.

SIT BACK while we bring your photos to life in a beautiful and professional looking motion slideshow that will be fun to watch over and over again.

SHOW your personal picture show DVD on your TV at home or share it with friends and family. It is fun for years to come.

How do we get started. First off, you need to determine what story you want to tell. You could use your pictures of a certain event, like a birthday party, a wedding or a trip. But it could also very well be a line-up of photos that you took of your children while they were growing up. Or maybe even a product line, or a building from start to finish. The possibilities are endless.

Don't be afraid to chose pictures that don't look all that great, for example that one picture you took last summer that is really out of focus but you really liked the composition of the shot. We can incorporate that one too, and in the end, I promise it doesn't look bad at all. The background music can be chosen by yourself or you can let us pick the right soundtrack. The right music will not only fit nicely with the pictures you supply, but it will also send a secondary message that will make your slide show unforgettable. Our CD library of 800+ titles is at your disposal. We have everything from Oldies, Country, Classical, Jazz, Blues or Folk. And what we don't have, we can get.

What happens next? Once it is all assembled, you will be invited to check out the results before we burn them onto a DVD for you. The DVD will be personalized with a picture and a title. We don't use labels for our DVDs, as they might make certain DVD players skip. Instead, we colour print directly onto the DVD. If you need multiple copies as gifts, stocking stuffers, etc. we can burn and print them for you at a small extra charge.

How long does it take? It really depends on how many pictures we have to incorporate. We take pride in taking the utmost care in preparing your own personal slide show, because every one is unique and special. The music and the motion have to come together in perfection and we work hard in achieving that. Generally we like to allow ourselves a couple of weeks once we have all the pictures. If you need the DVD for a special event, such as a birthday or anniversary coming up, we can work together with you to meet your deadline.

What if you don't like the end result? Well, we'll try of course everything to make you happy. If it is the music you don't like, we'll chose another one. If there are too few pictures, we'll put in some more. We're pretty confident that you will like your picture show once it's finished, but if you are not happy in the end, we won't be happy either. So you won't have to pay anything (except for the scanning, if there was any), you get your material back (including the scanned files) and we'll call it a day.

Pricing

We charge $ 15 for each started minute of slideshow for the first 10 minutes. That means, a slide show of 4 minutes and 28 seconds will cost $ 50. From the 11th minute onwards, we charge $ 25 per minute. This big difference in price is because once the slide show reaches a certain length, it becomes a lot more difficult to process. We also we want to encourage you to keep your show short and sweet (especially if you intend showing it during an event like a reception).

If you want us to scan printed photos, we usually charge 75 cents per picture, no matter what size. We scan pictures up to a size of 11x17". We can also make digital changes to your pictures (repairs, touch-ups, even manipulations such as removing objects/people from a photograph). These services are subject to a charge depending on how time consuming they are. We will be able to give precise estimates on request.

The small print: We reserve the right to refuse working with your material. I'm just saying, if we don't feel comfortable with the material you are handing over (ahem), we won't work with it. We will NOT and under NO CIRCUMSTANCE give out ANY of the material you are giving us, nor will we ever share any of your personal information with anyone else or show the finished slide show to anyone without your permission. After the work is done, you will get your material back and we will delete all the work files from our computers.
